What is The Grant Lattice?
A curated weekly digest and website of open research funding calls for chemistry, materials science, crystallization and pharma process researchers.
Where does the data come from?
Public APIs and feeds: the Grants.gov search API (which includes NSF CHE/DMR and DOE/NIH listings), the EU Funding & Tenders portal search API, and UKRI's opportunities feed.
How are eligibility notes written?
They are rule-based plain-language summaries of the funder's eligibility text. Anything uncertain is flagged 'needs review'. Always read the official call.
Do you include expired calls?
No. Calls whose deadline has passed are dropped at every build. Rolling programmes are shown without a fixed deadline.
Is it free?
The digest is free for readers; a clearly-labelled sponsor slot supports it.
Can I suggest a call?
In the full version, yes — this prototype only lists automatically sourced calls.
